i'm gonna stay sad at the fact that i am nowhere near japan or any of its prefectures right now or anytime in the future, and will only get out of it if and when someone brings me there august next year.

i was browsing my myspace earlier and saw anthony rapp's new blog entry--he's doing a rent tour next year with adam pascal and they're apparently planning to assemble a "great cast". (uh, say... OBC or OMC? wilson heredia, jesse martin, idina menzel, taye diggs, rosario dawson & tracie thoms? haha. dream on.) i thought it was a nationwide tour only, as he mentioned "around the country", and was about to accept the fact that i can not go to america but then... when i saw the last show. CRAP. it said there in the most familiar words ever: "Aug 4-30: Tokyo, Japan" (they're so familiar, it feels weird seeing them in an unfamiliar place.)

why, oh why japan of all places anthony? they won't understand a single thing you say there. why not the philippines? why not here instead since you're special someone is a filipino too? ... and bring along with you adam pascal... and the rest of the rent cast as well?

hmph. that's the last chance i might be seeing rent on stage. they're finally ending the show after eleven long years of showing it at the nedelander theater. waaaah.
sore wa saigo no chansu dakara. rainen ni nihon de ikanainara, rento... zettai mienai yo. nande koko ja arimasen desu ka?

i could sing rent songs all day and never get tired of them. i envy japanese people! they get everything. hmph.
